Two men injured in Paterson car crash, shooting on 15th Avenue

A city man is in critical condition after he was found with a gunshot wound inside a crashed vehicle on 15th Avenue early Saturday morning, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office. A second man, passenger in the vehicle, suffered injuries in the crash.
Police rushed the 30-year-old victim to St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center for treatment. Authorities said the victim who was driving the vehicle is in critical condition.
Both victims were located when police responded to report of a shooting on 15th Avenue and East 24th Street at around 12:36 a.m. Police discovered a vehicle with two people inside crashed into a house.
Authorities said the second man sustained injuries related to the motor vehicle crash.
