Paterson police arrest two in Godwin Avenue drug bust

Detectives arrested two people with bags of crack-cocaine and heroin in a drug bust at an apartment complex on Godwin Avenue, said police director Jerry Speziale on Tuesday afternoon.
Tommy Kellam, 57, and Michelle Spears, 32, allegedly had 82 baggies of crack-cocaine and 43 glassines of heroin stamped “El Chapo” with purple ink and “Overdose” with blue ink.
Both were picked up in a raid at 200 Godwin Avenue on Jul. 19. Both lived in the same apartment at the complex, according to police. Each has been charged with seven drug offenses for possession and distribution.
Police confiscated $1,431 in drug money from Kellam.
