Paterson woman shot on North Main Street

A city woman was shot on North Main Street early Thursday morning, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office.
The victim, 26-year-old, was shot at around 12:12 a.m. in the area of North Main and Clinton streets.
Police responded to report of a shooting in the area, but were unable to locate a crime scene. A short time later, police were advised a woman had arrived at Saint Joseph’s Regional Medical Center seeking treatment for a non-fatal gunshot wound.
Authorities continue to investigate the incident.
