45-year-old man injured in Paterson’s third shooting in 12 hours

A city man was injured in a shooting, third within a 12-hour span, on Carroll Street early Friday morning, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office.
Police said the victim, 45-year-old, arrived at Saint Joseph’s Regional Medical Center seeking treatment for a non-fatal gunshot wound at around 5:20 a.m.
Earlier in the morning, police received a report of shots fired on Carroll Street. Police officers responded to the area at around 1:40 a.m., but did not find any victims.
Police responded to two other shootings within a 12-hour span.
At 4:55 p.m. on Thursday, a 24-year-old Haledon man was shot on Park Avenue.
At 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, a 33-year-old Paterson man was shot on East 17th Street.
