Paterson cancels afterschool activities, schools to have delayed opening for Thursday, Jan. 31, 2019

The Paterson Public Schools has cancelled all after school activities for Wednesday due to the forecasted dangerous snow squalls this afternoon and the bone chilling temperatures expected this evening, announced the school district.
Schools will have a delayed opening on Thursday, Jan. 31, 2019 due to single digit temperatures that could put children at risk of frostbite and other cold-related injuries.
Students have to report to school at 9:45 a.m. and staff five minutes earlier.
Buses will arrive 90 minutes after normal pick up times.
