A city liquor store sold a winning $154,532 lottery ticket on Thursday, according to the New Jersey Lottery.
One ticket sold at Duarte at 230 Rosa Parks Boulevard matched all five numbers drawn for the Jersey Cash 5 jackpot. Winning numbers were 01, 03, 04, 06 and 31 and the XTRA was 04.
“We are thrilled that the winning jackpot ticket was sold at Duarte. The retailer will receive a bonus check for $2,000 for selling the winning ticket. Overnight, they have become one more ‘lucky location’ for the very fortunate lottery winner,” James Carey, acting executive director for the New Jersey Lottery, said.
