A drug activity investigation triggered by numerous complaints from Northside residents yielded two arrests on Wednesday, according to public safety director Jerry Speziale.
Shaliek Webb, 24, was arrested close to 92 East Main Street for possession of 15 vials of crack cocaine and 9 glassine envelopes of heroin.
Webb has been charged with seven drug offenses.
Police then moved to nearby Stout and Holsman streets.
Grady Sheppard, 55, was arrested for possession of 158 glassine envelopes of heroin and 16 vials of crack cocaine.
Sheppard was charged with six drug offenses.
Detectives seized $158 in suspected drug proceeds from Sheppard.
Speziale said residents complained about drug dealing in the area of East Main and Hillman streets.
