Paterson police arrest four, seize assortment of drugs

The police arrested four people and confiscated an assortment of drugs in a bust on Straight Street, according to public safety director Jerry Speziale.
Naved Miah, 26; Jose Lozano, 22; Jeremy Lozano, 26; and Adrian Shafer, 19, all of Paterson, were arrested in a drug bust on June 19, 2019 in the area of Straight and Essex streets, police said on Thursday.
Miah was charged with 19 drug charges. He allegedly had 49 baggies of powder cocaine, 19 bags of crack cocaine, 100 glassine envelopes of heroin, 19 jars and 1 bag of marijuana, 12 Oxycodone and 5 Alprazolam pills.
Shafer and the two Lozanos were each charged with six drug offenses. Police charged them with having 4 bags of crack cocaine, 2 jars and 1 bag of marijuana, police said.
Police confiscated $56 in suspected drug proceeds from Shafer.
