17-year-old Paterson boy injured in Straight Street shooting

A city teenage boy was injured in a shooting on Straight Street late Tuesday night, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office.
Police said the victim, 17-year-old, was located on Straight Street near Paterson Street at around 10:37 p.m. He was suffering from a non-fatal gunshot wound.
The victim was rushed to St Joseph’s Regional Medical Center for treatment.
Police received report of a shooting in the area of Broadway, but found the victim after canvasing the vicinity. A possible crime scene was located in the area of Hamilton Avenue.
