A city man is wanted on first-degree murder and other charges for his alleged role in a double shooting on Belle Avenue, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office.

David Talmadge, 26-year-old, has also been charged with attempted murder, weapons offenses, and certain persons not to possess firearms, authorities said on Wednesday afternoon.

Talmadge remains at large.

On October 27, 2019, Talmadge was at his mother’s house, where he engaged in a dispute with her downstairs neighbors. Argument escalated at around 5:43 p.m. Talmadge took out a handgun and opened fire.

38-year-old Anthony Anglin and 42-year-old Fabian Anglin were struck. Both made it to St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center on a private vehicle.

Anthony Anglin later died at the hospital.

Police were called to the scene at 21 Belle Avenue, but Talmadge fled on foot.

Anyone with information about Talmadge is asked to call the Paterson Police Detective Bureau at 973-321-1120.
