A fourth person has died from the new coronavirus in Paterson. Number of people tested positive for Covid-19 has increased from 175 to 225 on Sunday, according to municipal government data.

The deceased is an 83-year-old Paterson woman, officials said on Monday morning. Previously, two men and a woman perished after testing positive for the new coronavirus.

Passaic County had 831 positive cases on Sunday. Nine deaths have been reported from the virus in the county — 2 in Clifton, 1 in Passaic City, and 2 in Ringwood.

With 177 positive cases, Clifton has the second biggest number of cases after Paterson. These numbers are expected to increase as more people are tested with the opening of a drive-thru testing center at William Paterson University.

Overall, New Jersey reported 13,386 positive cases with 161 deaths, according to the New Jersey Department of Health.
