A city man told police he was infected with Covid-19 after officers responding to a domestic dispute attempted to place him under arrest, according to authorities.

Christopher Williams, 26, has been charged with contempt, obstruction, and resisting arrest.

Police had responded to his residence on Tuesday for a domestic dispute. He allegedly violated a restraining order, authorities said.

Police tried to arrest him, but he did not comply.
