Two men were allegedly operating their recording studios on Grand Street in violation of emergency orders to curb the spread of Covid-19 early Saturday morning, according to authorities.

Shakeem Sanders, 23, of Paterson, and Brendan R. Vidulich, 34, of Hewitt, have been charged with violating emergency orders.

Sanders and Vidulich had studios at 463 Grand Street in Paterson. Police responded to the studio after receiving report that an unknown assailant had attacked and wounded Sanders while he was operating his studio.

Vidulich was on the same floor as Sanders operating his studio.

Over the weekend three people were shot in a building on Grand Street. Emergency responders were dispatched to 463 Grand Street.

Authorities said violation of emergency orders carry a possible six-month jail sentence and $1,000 penalty.
