The man killed in a police-involved shooting in Paterson on Thursday afternoon has been identified as a resident of Pequannock.
Luan Agolli, 42-year-old, was fatally shot in an encounter with police in the area of 50 Carroll Street.
New Jersey Attorney General’s Office made public preliminary findings of its investigation into the incident on Friday afternoon.
Police responded to a 911 call reporting a man with a handgun on Carroll Street at 4:09 p.m. Police encountered Agolli armed with a handgun walking in and around the intersection of Carroll and Harrison streets, authorities said.
