Paterson sex offender was dealing drugs from 12th Avenue apartment, police say

A registered sex offender was arrested on Wednesday for allegedly dealing drugs out of his 12th Avenue apartment, according to public safety director Jerry Speziale.
Jaquan Housey, 31, has been charged with numerous drug offenses. Police raided his apartment at 113 12th Ave apartment #303 after observing an alleged drug transaction.
Police seized 121 vials or 42 grams of crack cocaine, 480 glassine envelopes of heroin, and $7,604 cash from Housey (pictured).
Police also arrested two of Housey’s alleged customers.
Jason West, 42, of Paterson, has been charged with drug possession and distribution.
Megan Pietrowitz, 36, of Hopatcong, has been charged with possession of 2 vials of crack cocaine.
Police set up surveillance of Housey’s apartment after observing an alleged drug sale. Police first arrested his alleged customers and then raided the apartment.
