Paterson coronavirus cases top 5,500 with 267 deaths

The number of people tested positive for the new coronavirus in Paterson increased by 78 to 5,508 on Friday afternoon, according to municipal government data.
No new fatalities were reported on Friday. 267 people have died from Covid-19 in Paterson.
Paterson has the largest outbreak of the virus in Passaic County.
Passaic County has 14,280 infections with 715 deaths. Overall, New Jersey had 135,454 cases with 8,952 fatalities on Friday.
