Paterson reports 5,755 total coronavirus infections

The number of people tested positive for the new coronavirus in Paterson increased by 54 to 5,755 on Wednesday afternoon, according to municipal government data.
No new deaths were reported on Wednesday. Previously, the city had 271 fatalities.
Paterson has the largest outbreak of the virus in Passaic County.
Passaic County has 14,757 infections with 785 deaths. Overall, New Jersey had 141,560 cases with 9,702 fatalities on Wednesday.
