Paterson reports 54 new coronavirus cases

After a large drop over the past couple of days, Paterson reported 54 new coronavirus infections on Sunday bringing the total case count to 6,168, according to municipal government data.
No new deaths were reported on Sunday. Paterson has 308 fatalities from Covid-19.
The city’s four coronavirus testing sites are closed for Memorial Day. All sites will re-open on Tuesday.
Paterson has the largest outbreak of the virus in Passaic County.
Passaic County has 15,686 infections with 890 deaths. Overall, New Jersey has 154,154 cases with 11,133 fatalities.
