Paterson reports 12 new coronavirus cases

The number of people tested positive for the new coronavirus in Paterson increased by 12 to 6,191 on Tuesday afternoon, according to municipal government data.
Daily new cases have been dropping since the beginning of May with some fluctuations. The three-day moving average for daily cases stands at 21.
One new fatality was reported on Tuesday bringing the total deaths from Covid-19 in Paterson to 309.
Paterson has the largest outbreak of the virus in Passaic County.
Passaic County has 15,826 infections with 892 deaths. Overall, New Jersey has 155,764 cases with 11,191 fatalities.
