Paterson reports 23 new coronavirus cases

The number of people tested positive for the new coronavirus in Paterson increased by 23 to 6,369 on Monday afternoon, according to municipal government data.
Daily new cases have been dropping since the beginning of May with some fluctuations. The three-day moving average of daily cases stands at 31.
No new fatalities were reported on Monday. Paterson has 366 deaths from Covid-19.
Paterson has the largest outbreak of the virus in Passaic County.
Passaic County has 16,200 infections with 929 deaths. Overall, New Jersey has 160,918 cases with 11,721 fatalities.
