Paterson reports 17 new coronavirus cases

The number of people tested positive for the new coronavirus in Paterson increased by 17 to 6,386 on Tuesday afternoon, according to municipal government data.
Daily new cases have been dropping since the beginning of May with some fluctuations. The three-day moving average of daily cases stands at 23.
No new fatalities were reported on Tuesday. Paterson has 366 deaths from Covid-19.
Paterson has the largest outbreak of the virus in Passaic County.
Passaic County has 16,234 infections with 931 deaths. Overall, New Jersey has 161,545 cases with 11,770 fatalities.
