Paterson reports 26 new coronavirus cases

The number of people tested positive for the new coronavirus in Paterson increased by 26 to 6,412 on Wednesday afternoon, according to municipal government data.
Daily new cases have been dropping since the beginning of May with some fluctuations. The three-day moving average of daily cases stands at 21.
No new fatalities were reported on Wednesday. Paterson has 366 deaths from Covid-19.
Paterson has the largest outbreak of the virus in Passaic County.
Passaic County has 16,277 infections with 940 deaths. Overall, New Jersey has 162,068 cases with 11,880 fatalities.
