Feds award $384,400 to Paterson for Covid-19 emergency response

The U.S. Department of Justice has awarded $384,396 to Paterson for Covid-19 emergency response.
Funds from the U.S. Department of Justice Office of Justice Programs’s Coronavirus Emergency Supplemental Funding (CESF) Program allow for funding of overtime, purchase of law enforcement and medical personnel protective equipment, hiring, supplies such as gloves, masks, and hand sanitizer, and addressing medical needs of inmates.
Coronavirus Emergency Supplemental Funding (CESF) Program awards grants to local governments for “preventing, preparing for, and responding to the coronavirus.”
The award was announced on Friday.
