1 killed, 1 hurt in early morning Paterson shooting

A city man was killed and another was wounded in an early Monday morning shooting on 12th Avenue, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office.
Salomon Bens Bertha, 23, and Robinson Guzman, 20, were located suffering from gunshot wounds inside 20 12th Avenue at around 12:09 a.m., authorities said.
Police responded to the address on report of shots fired.
Bertha was pronounced dead at the scene.
Guzman was rushed to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center for treatment. He was treated and released authorities said.
