Paterson reports 7 new coronavirus cases

The number of people tested positive for the new coronavirus in Paterson increased by 7 to 6,496 on Tuesday afternoon, according to municipal government data.
Daily new cases have been dropping since the beginning of May with some fluctuations. The three-day moving average of daily cases stands at 13.
No new fatalities were reported on Tuesday. Paterson has 302 deaths from Covid-19.
Paterson has the largest outbreak of the virus in Passaic County.
Passaic County has 16,492 infections with 977 deaths. Overall, New Jersey has 164,796 cases with 12,303 fatalities.
