Paterson man hurt in Summer Street shooting

A city man was injured in a shooting on Summer Street late Sunday night, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office.
The victim, 25-year-old, is believed to have been struck by gunfire on Summer Street and Broadway, authorities said.
Police responded to report of a shooting on Carroll Street at around 11:54 p.m. Officers located the victim and rushed him to Saint Joseph’s Regional Medical Center for treatment.
The victim’s injuries are non-fatal. He is the third person shot in Paterson over the weekend. Early Sunday morning a man and a woman were wounded in a shooting on Godwin Avenue.
