Three wounded in Paterson shooting on 10th Avenue

Three men – 2 from Paterson and 1 from Newark — were wounded in a shooting on 10th Avenue on Friday night, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office.
Police said the victims, 35-year-old Paterson man, 35-year-old Newark man, and 58-year-old Paterson man, sustained non-fatal gunshot wounds on 10th Avenue between East 26th and East 25th streets at around 9:09 p.m.
Victims were rushed to Saint Joseph’s Regional Medical Center for treatment. Authorities said the two Paterson men are in critical condition at the hospital.
The shooting is the latest in an escalating series of violent incidents in Paterson. On Tuesday, seven people were shot, four fatally.
