The New Jersey Attorney General’s Office and the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office are hosting a listening session on Thursday via Zoom to collect residents’ input to change police use of force policy.

For the first time in 20 years, law enforcement officials are seeking to revise New Jersey’s use of force policy. That’s the policy in effect at every police department in the state, including at the Paterson police department.

Listening session is scheduled for 4 p.m. via Zoom. Join the Zoom virtual conference by clicking here.

The listening session was previously scheduled to take place at John F. Kennedy High School, but has been changed to a virtual Zoom meeting.

Meeting ID is 914 9273 3383 and the pass code is 216509.
