Newark man wounded in Paterson shooting, police say

A Newark man was wounded in a shooting in Paterson early Sunday morning, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office.
The victim, 22-year-old, was struck by gunfire at around 12:30 a.m. on East 23rd Street and Park Avenue in Paterson.
Authorities said the victim managed to get himself transported to St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center for treatment. His injuries are non-fatal, police said.
