Garfield man arrested on drug charges in Paterson raid

A man from Garfield was arrested on Wednesday for allegedly dealing drugs out of a house in Paterson, according to public safety director Jerry Speziale.
Johnny Rivera, 48-year-old, was charged with numerous drug offenses. He was arrested when police raided 136 Bloomfield Avenue.
Police said Rivera had 162 glassine envelopes of heroin, 15 vials of crack cocaine, and $203 in suspected drug proceeds.
