Paterson man wounded in North 2nd Street shooting

A city man was wounded in a shooting on North 2nd Street early Thursday evening, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office.
The victim, 23-year-old, was struck by gunfire in the area of North 2nd Street and Haledon Avenue at around 7:06 p.m. He sustained a non-fatal gunshot wound, authorities said.
Police rushed the victim to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center for treatment.
