Two people wounded in Paterson shooting near Getty Avenue

Two men were struck by gunfire near Getty Avenue late Saturday afternoon, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office.
The victims, 26 and 39, both of Paterson, were struck at around 4:10 p.m. on Elizabeth Street and Getty Avenue.
Both victims arrived at Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center seeking treatment for gunshot wounds.
Police said their injuries are non-fatal.
The investigation into the shooting remains active and ongoing, authorities said. Anyone with information is asked to call the Paterson Police Ceasefire Unit at 973-321-1342.
