Paterson man shot while sitting inside vehicle on Summer Street

A city man sitting in a vehicle on Summer Street was shot late Friday night, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office.
The victim, 24-year-old, was seated in the driver’s seat of a vehicle on Summer Street and Broadway at around 10:05 p.m.
Police said an unknown assailant approached the vehicle and fired. The victim sustained non-fatal gunshot wounds, police said. The victim was rushed to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center for treatment.
