A man from Easton, Pennsylvania has been arrested and charged with attempted murder for his alleged role in a shooting on North 2nd Street in Paterson, New Jersey, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office.
Twyleak Sexton, 20-year-old, has also been charged with two weapons offenses in connection with the September 17 shooting on North 2nd and Haledon Avenue.
Sexton was the alleged shooter in the incident that left a 23-year-old city man with non-fatal gunshot injuries.
Sexton was arrested in Northampton County, Pennsylvania on unrelated charges. He was extradited to Passaic County on November 30 to face charges in Paterson.
Sexton faces a maximum of 20 years in state prison on the attempted murder charge alone.
