Paterson man killed in Broadway shooting

A city man was killed in a shooting in the area of Broadway on Wednesday afternoon, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office.
Michael Richardson, 33-year-old, was found lying on the ground in the parking lot of the BP gas station with apparent gunshot wounds, police said.
Police arrived at the intersection of Broadway and Summer Street at around 3:13 p.m. on report of gunfire in the area.
Richardson was rushed to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center for treatment. He was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital.
