19-year-old Paterson man in critical condition after being shot on Jefferson Street

A city man was wounded in a shooting on Jefferson Street late Tuesday afternoon, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office.
The victim, 19-year-old, was struck by gunfire in the area of Jefferson Street and Garfield Avenue at around 5:24 p.m.
Police located the victim suffering from non-fatal gunshot wounds. He was rushed to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center for treatment.
The victim is in critical condition, police said.
