Paterson teen, shot multiple times on Jefferson Street, dies

A teenager shot multiple times on Jefferson Street yesterday has died from his injuries, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office.
Bryan Vargas, 19-year-old, of Paterson, succumbed to injuries at around 4:46 p.m. on Wednesday.
Vargas had been in critical condition at Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center since getting shot outside of 89 Jefferson Street the day before.
Vargas was found lying in the street next to a parked vehicle, police said. He was rushed to the hospital for treatment.
No arrests have been made.
