The police dismantled a drug production facility on Bergen Street, arresting six people and seizing more than 13,000 glassine envelopes of heroin, according to public safety director Jerry Speziale.

Police arrested Yhamere F. Mayo, 30, of Paterson; Kenaji A. Newman, 27, of Paterson; Jahmier Negron, 21, of Paterson; 15-year-old Paterson boy; Douglas Vigna, 45, of Hawthorne; Camarra C. Campbell, 21, of Clifton on various drug offenses during the raid at 46 Bergen Street on Tuesday.

Drug dealers from the area would obtain their products from the facility, police said.

Mayo, Newman, Negron, the teen, and Campbell were charged with dozens of drug offenses. Vigna was charged with drug possession.

Police seized 13,350 glassine envelopes of heroin, 83 vials and 1 sandwich bag of crack cocaine, 14 jars and 18 bags of marijuana, and $4,094 cash.

Police also confiscated three firearms, two of which were reported stolen. Scale, packaging material, and cutting agent used to process and package drugs were also seized.

“This is a major accomplishment and closure of an illegal drug distribution ring and manufacturing plant, which impacts the availability of illegal drugs in our City,” said Speziale.
