Paterson man stabbed to death in fight on Park Avenue

A city man was stabbed to death during a fight on Park Avenue early Sunday morning, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office.
The victim, Luis Ramirez, 26-year-old, was found lying in the street next to a parked vehicle with apparent stab wounds, authorities said. Police arrived on the scene in the area of 315 Park Avenue at around 12:26 a.m. after receiving information about a group fighting and one man having been stabbed.
Ramirez was unresponsive. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities continue to investigate the stabbing. Anyone with information is asked to call the Paterson Police Detective Bureau at 973-321-1120.
