Hawthorne woman in critical condition after being shot in Paterson, police say

A woman from Hawthorne was wounded in a shooting in Paterson early Tuesday morning, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office.
The victim, 41-year-old, was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds in the area of Oak and Martin streets in Paterson at around 1:51 a.m.
She was rushed to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center. She remains in critical condition at the hospital, police said.
