Paterson triple shooting victim dies in hospital, police say

A city man wounded in a triple shooting last week has died, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office.
Charles Hughes, 38-year-old, who had been in critical condition since the shooting last Wednesday, died on Sunday at around 11:05 a.m., authorities said.
Hughes and two other people were shot on Summer Street and Broadway last Wednesday. They were all rushed to St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center for treatment.
One victim was treated and released. And another victim is in stable condition at the hospital.
