2 people hurt in Paterson shooting

A man and a woman were wounded in a shooting on East 18th Street early Saturday evening, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office.
The victims, 59-year-old woman and 22-year-old man, both of Paterson, were stuck by gunfire in the area of East 18th and Pearl streets at around 7:43 p.m.
Police arrived at the scene, but did not find victims. Half an hour later, police were advised two victims arrived at Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center seeking treatment for non-fatal gunshot injuries.
