Newark man allegedly sexually abused two children in Paterson, Passaic City residences

A Newark man has been arrested for allegedly sexually abusing two children in residences in Paterson and Passaic City, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office.

Tahmir Norris, 29-year-old, was arrested on Thursday on charges of three counts of aggravated sexual assault, three counts of sexual assault, and six counts of endangering the welfare of a child.

Norris allegedly sexually abused a six-year-old victim on two occasions at residences in Paterson and Passaic City while a four-year-old child was present in the room between March and May.

Norris also allegedly sexually abused the four-year-old at a different occasion at a Passaic City residence.

Norris could face life in prison if convicted on the offenses.
