The police arrested two men for their alleged role in a murder on Franklin Street, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office.

Jeremaih Rosado, 18, and Imeir I. Tucker, 24, both of Paterson, have been charged with murder, conspiracy to commit murder, possession of a handgun for an unlawful purpose, and unlawful possession of a handgun in connection with the killing of 28-year-old Juan Garcia of Paterson on July 3 outside of 159 Franklin Street.

Garcia was found lying on the sidewalk with apparent gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities said Rosado and Tucker are among the individuals responsible for Garcia’s murder.

Rosado was arrested on July 6 when he reported to the police headquarters. Tucker was arrested on July 8 at around 11:20 a.m. at a tire shop on East 22nd and Park avenues.

Both Rosado and Tucker could face 25 years to life in prison if convicted, authorities said.
