Five candidates running for three Paterson school board seats

Five candidates are running for three up-for-grabs school board seats in November.
Incumbents Oshin Castillo, Nakima Redmon, Manny Martinez, Jr., and challengers Amber N. Huq and Shanikwa Lemon are vying for the three seats.
Castillo, Redmon, and Martinez are running as a team or bracket.
Lemon ran last year, but was unsuccessful in winning a seat. Huq is a newcomer seeking a seat.
The election will take place on November 2, 2021.
