Paterson man accosted by two suspects inside East 23rd Street building and shot

A city man was accosted by two suspects inside a residential building on East 23rd and 8th Avenue and shot late Saturday night, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office.
The victim, 41-year-old, was shot at around 11:09 p.m. Police arrived in response to report of a shooting. The victim was taken to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center for treatment. He sustained a non-fatal gunshot wound.
