Paterson man killed in Union Avenue shooting

A city man was killed in a shooting on Union Avenue early Tuesday evening, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office.
Anthony McNeal, 37-year-old, was found lying on the sidewalk with an apparent gunshot wound at around 7:53 p.m. when police responded to 454 Union Avenue on report of a shooting.
Medics were called to provide life saving aid, but McNeal succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
