Illinois man was driving in Paterson when stray bullet struck him

A man from Illinois was driving his vehicle on Presidential Boulevard when a stray bullet entered his vehicle, wounding him, on Saturday afternoon, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office.
The victim, 50-year-old, of Oak Forest, Illinois, was traveling in a vehicle on Presidential Boulevard approaching traffic light at the intersection with West Broadway at around 4:43 p.m. Multiple actors began shooting at an unknown person, according to authorities.
One bullet pierced the victim’s windshield and struck him. He was rushed to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson for treatment.
