Paterson police arrest two, seize loaded gun from vehicle blasting music

The police busted a group drinking and playing loud music from a vehicle on North Main Street, arresting two men and seizing a loaded handgun, late Friday night, according to public safety director Jerry Speziale.
Yusef Page, 20, and Eliezer Ortiz, 20, both of Paterson, were arrested and charged with weapons offenses.
Police observed an occupied vehicle playing loud music on North Main and Jefferson streets at around 11:55 p.m. A group also gathered in front of the vehicle. They were drinking alcohol while partying.
Page and Ortiz were the occupants of the vehicle, police said. Police observed a handgun in the rear seat of the vehicle.
Both men were removed from the vehicle and a Taurus 9mm pistol was seized.
