Paterson man charged for allegedly sexually assaulting inmate at Bergen County Jail

A man has been charged for allegedly sexually assaulting another inmate at the Bergen County Jail, according to authorities.
Nasir Newsome, 25, of Paterson, has been charged with aggravated sexual assault, aggravated assault, and terroristic threats charges.
On December 3, authorities learned Newsome had sexually assaulted a fellow inmate at the jail. He was charged the same day and is being held at the jail.
